NICOLE CAMPOS (Alex) is a sophomore at Sam Houston State University where she is currently majoring in Musical Theatre. She could most recently be seen performing as Ensemble/Amalia Understudy in She Loves Me. She is thrilled to be a part of The Chosen Ones cast!

ASHLEY DUPLECHIEN (Iris), mezzo-soprano, is a Louisiana native currently residing in Houston. She was trained first at Louisiana State University by Dr. Loraine Sims then at the Royal Academy of Music in London by world-renowned mezzo-soprano Anne Howells and prominent conductor and coach Iain Ledingham. Ashley’s agile voice has allowed her the privilege to explore and perform a wide variety of orchestral repertoire as a soloist across western Europe as well as here in the United States, including Verdi’s Messa da Requiem, Wagner’s Wesendonck Lieder, Bach’s St. John Passion, Handel’s Messiah and Purcell’s Welcome to all the Pleasures. Operatic repertoire includes title role in Rossini’s La Cenerentola, Le Feu in Ravel’s L’enfant et les sortilèges, Diane in Offenbach’s Orphée aux enfers, and both Fiordiligi and Dorabella in Mozart’s Così fan tutte. Ashley has been a member of the Houston Grand Opera chorus since 2014 and is also part of the leadership team with the newly-formed Hopera – an immersive classical music experience focused on accessibility and affordability. In addition to her career in music, Ashley has worked in the energy and fuels industry since 2015, currently as the Director of Business Development for a renewable fuels provider. Her commercial projects span North America and provide pathways for emissions reductions in the transportation sector resulting in cleaner air.

ISAAC A. GONZALEZ (Daniel) is currently a sophomore at Sam Houston State University majoring in Musical Theatre where he is most known for his appearances as a Swing in American Idiot, Birdseller in Sweeney Todd, and Swing in She Loves Me. He is very excited to be a part of The Chosen Ones cast!

EMMA HAYDEN (Billie) is thrilled to perform the role of Billie in The Chosen Ones. Emma, most recently featured as Mabel in Aaron Alon Production’s Mad! The Musical concept cast album, is currently finishing her music education degree at the University of Houston. Additional performance credits include: Merry Widow (Lolo), Ainadamar (Nina), Grease (Sandy Dumbrowski), You Can’t Take it with you (Alice Sycamore), and Great American Trailer Park (Donna “Pickles”). Emma would like to thank her family, friends, and mentors for their continuous support and encouragement.

DAVID CROCKER (Jo, actor in videos) is a young actor within the Houston area. He has performed and led tech in several award-winning productions with the Klein Collins High School Drama Department. These include Moon Over Buffalo, winning several awards at Texas Thespian Festival in 2023; Mean Girls, winning multiple awards from the Tommy Tunes Awards, and critically acclaimed productions of Proof, CLUE and many more. He is a member and officer of the Lone Star College-University Park Players and has performed with the department since Fall 2024.

AARON ALON (Book, Lyrics, Music, Arrangements) is an award-winning composer, writer, director, filmmaker, and teacher. His classical music has been played in concert venues around the world, awarded multiple international awards, and released on several CDs. Since earning his doctorate in composition from Rice University’s Shepherd School of Music, he has shifted his focus to plays, musicals, films, and short-form YouTube videos. His plays and musicals have been performed around the US and in the UK, and his 2017 feature film musical Bully has been screened in and awarded prizes from film festivals around the world. Aaron was one of six international finalists for the 2022 Fred Ebb Awards for musical theatre writers and his musical The Great White Way: the Bert Williams Musical was one of three international finalists for the 2023 Stanley Drama Award. Current projects include recordings of his musicals, a new musical he’s cowriting with Alric Davis, and new content for his YouTube channel, which has had over 10 million views. DR. CHRISTOPH WAGNER (Cello) is renowned cellist and sought-after educator, celebrated for his international artistic prowess. With accolades including first prizes at the German Youth Competition, the Ribalta Mozart Italia competition, and the Peter-Pirazzi Competition, he has graced prestigious stages worldwide, from the Gürzenich Orchestra Cologne to festivals across Europe, Asia, and the Americas. A dedicated music ambassador, he has received fellowships from Live Music Now – Yehudi Menuhin Foundation and DA CAMERA Houston. Dr. Wagner’s musical journey led him to a Bachelor of Music, a Master of Music from Indiana University, Bloomington/IN, and a Doctor of Musical Arts from Rice University’s Shepherd School of Music. He has shared his passion as adjunct faculty at Lone Star College-University Park in Houston and currently imparts his expertise as Assistant Professor of Cello at the University of New Mexico.

ABBY SEIBLE (vocal coach) is a singer, vocal coach, and music director in the city of Houston. She teaches privately as well as in public schools, most notably being Houston’s Kinder High School for the Performing and Arts, having been music director and vocal coach for a variety of musical productions such as Hairspray, Godspell, Dreamgirls, Avenue Q, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Cabaret, and more. Recent performance credits include productions of Floyd Collins, First Lady Suite, and Myths and Hymns with Bit of a Stretch Theatre Company. Abby received her bachelor’s degree from the Eastman School of Music with a focus of Vocal Performance. She is thrilled to be a part of this exciting new piece of musical theatre with Aaron Alon and company!

AARON ALON (Book, Lyrics, Music, Arrangements) is an award-winning writer, composer, and director-producer. His stage musicals include The Chosen Ones; The Great White Way: the Bert Williams Musical, a 2023 finalist for the Stanley Drama Awards; and Mad!, which he cowrote with Russell Sarre. His feature film musical Bully was screened in film festivals around the world, winning over 20 festival awards, including Best Picture and Best Director. Aaron was one of six international finalists for the 2022 Fred Ebb Award for musical theatre creators. His classical music has also been performed around the world, released on five CDs, and awarded numerous national and international composition honors. He is a member of the Recording Academy (voting member for the GRAMMY Awards), ASCAP, and Mu Phi Epsilon, and is a founding member and president of the Board of Directors of Thunderclap Productions, a nonprofit production company based in Houston. Aaron also runs Aaron Alon Productions, LLC, which produces music and video shorts for his YouTube channel, which has had over 10 million views.
